Jonathan Dworin is a Policy Analyst for SSTI where he writes for the SSTI Digest and helps to maintain a database of publicly supported programs that encourage economic growth through science, technology, and innovation. Originally from the Detroit area, he brings several years of academic research experience and has co-authored numerous reports on environmental, land, and economic development policy. During graduate school, Mr. Dworin worked with McKinsey & Co. consultants on the strategic plan for GREATERMSP, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership, and delivered a presentation on occupational licensing for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He also worked as a graduate research assistant with the State and Local Policy Program studying industry clusters and economic competitiveness. Mr. Dworin received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Relations & Policy from James Madison College at Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
