Lynn Gellermann is the Executive Director of TechGROWTH Ohio, a public/private partnership managed by Ohio University, which provides seed capital and venture development services to startup technology companies and entrepreneurs in southeast Ohio. Under his direction, as part of the Ohio Third Frontier-supported entrepreneurial ecosystem, TechGROWTH Ohio has been responsible for nearly $320 million in regional economic activity. Mr. Gellermann also serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Ohio University, a partnership between the College of Business and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. The Center provides academic programs, experiential student-learning activities and technology commercialization support for faculty and student innovators. The Center was awarded the “Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Program” in 2015 by the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE). In these capacities, Mr. Gellermann provides significant leadership to Ohio University and the state of Ohio for important statewide initiatives, including the I-Corps@Ohio program and the Ohio Innovation Fund. He brings decades of venture capital, banking and economic development experience to these endeavors. Mr. Gellermann earned his Bachelor’s from Hastings College and his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.
