Scott McIntyre is a lifetime entrepreneur and Founder/Chairman of strategy & capital services firm Phabriq Development, a catalyst for over 20 years in diverse fields including education technology, alternative finance, health, entertainment, automotive, and sports. Mr. McIntyre was a founding member and currently sits on the Board of Directors as President of the Crowdfunding Professional Association, the leading 501(c)(6) trade group formed by the change agents responsible for crowdfunding’s inclusion in the JOBS Act of 2012. He also founded alternative finance think tank The International Crowdfinance Leadership Council, joining together industry thought leaders from over 20 nations. He previously managed the state of Ohio technology incubation program from his offices at The University of Toledo, and was responsible for the creation of the Office of Student Entrepreneurship & Engagement, which he designed to tap student creativity and initiative and facilitate growth in student startups aimed at seeding regional economic sustainability. Mr. McIntyre is a frequent speaker, moderator and panelist at leading global conferences including the first series of “Internet Finance” symposiums sponsored by the Chinese government, with five appearances to over 30,000 attendees in China and India in 2015-2016.
